8 Makeup Brushes You Never Knew You Needed!
Have you ever wondered how people get their makeup looking like a professional makeup artist lives in their bathroom? Yeah me too!
As most of you know, my gal Aleksandra Pinneri from Unveil the Beauty is my go to guru for everything skincare and makeup. Not only does she have the best tips to give you glowing skin but killer techniques to create makeup quickly, easily and with the right tools.
Here are her hot must have makeup brushes from Crown Brush Australia and a little commentary from me here and there.
1. Pro Crease Makeup Brush C528
The go to brush for blending the crease. It is perfect for smaller eyes or creating that finer detail work.
Aleksandra is literally in love with this brush and would cry for a week if for it was to be discontinued.
2. Blending Crease Makeup Brush SS027
This little beauty is for blending your eyeshadow like a pro. It is soft, flexible and even I can use it! I have to say I love love love this brush and it is my go to for every eye look I want to create no matter how soft or dramatic I want it.
3. Angle Definer C409 – Eye Liner Makeup Brush
So if you are lucky enough to rock out a winged eyeliner then this is your must have brush.
Aleksandra says, “It’s thin enough to give you a detailed line and because its an angle brush, it makes those wings even easier!”
4. Angle Duo Brow Makeup Brush C158
Ok so this brush changed my brow game ladies. This gem has a spoolie (the brushy bit for the none makeup gurus) on one end which you use to blend and brush the hair and on the other end;
An angle brush that is super fine and allows you to create small hair like strokes to fill out your brow and create that brow definition.
5. Oval Eyeshow Applicator Makeup Brush BK33
So I’ll leave this one to the pro to explain what this is. Take it away Aleksandra:
this is the “perfect size for small to medium sized eyes, still giving you control and the ability to choose where you place your eyeshadow down. It’s soft, easy to pick up pigments as well as pressed eyeshadows and fits in all the hard to get spots.”
I use this baby to place colour in a specific area of the eye. For me I like to add a little bit of light colour or shimmer on the eyelid centre just to create a more open look.
6. Bullet Makeup Brush C513
If you love the look of colour smudged gently under the bottom lash line, then you’ll want this soft pointy number.
It blends your eyeshadow gently and you have control of how close you can get it to the lash line due to the pointy little end.
This brush can also be used for detailed work to help you create the perfect eyeshadow layers.
7. Angle Blush Makeup Brush BK32
Your go to blush and contour makeup brush.
this baby is “firm enough to be able to grab enough colour on it, its flexible enough to blend like a boss, and it’s angled to help you create shape to the face with ease.”
I have two of these guys. One my bronzer to create my contouring and one so I can apply my blush.
8. Angle Kabuki Foundation Makeup Brush C453
So if you want to get that pro foundation finish that you see on the instas and smooth natural look then you have got to get an angled kabuki brush. This changed my foundation game!
The brush is soft, thick and you can use it to apply your foundation and primer with a streak free finish.
Hot tip – gently stipple the kabuki makeup brush onto your face to spread your product rather than pushing the makeup around. You will get a more even natural finish.
